The Tasmanian Chapter aims to suppport Nurse Practitioners professionally:  assisting with collegial support and mentoring of nurse practitioner students.  Influencing the strategic direction for nurse practitioners is another focus.  In Tasmania, endorsed nurse practitioners and nurse practitioner students are expanding in number with nurse practitioners working in the public and private sectors.  Currently nurse practitioner students undertake distance education with key clinical components supported by medical, allied health and nursing/nurse practitioner supervisors and mentors.

The Tasmanian Chapter of ACNP welcomes nurse practitioners, student nurse practitioners and other interested nurses to become involved in our activities.
