One of our 10 year goals is to become a household name and for quality use of medicines to be widely understood and implemented. Following extensive research we realised that National Prescribing Service was no longer a broad enough descriptor for the organisation. Our work goes beyond prescription medicines and now includes quality use of medical tests. The new brand will create a strong and coherent representation of NPS across everything we do. This will help build engagement with the audiences who know us and create a more easily recognisable presence with those who don't. We are also introducing new elements to speak with different audiences-use of the word professional for when we address health professionals, and medicinewise for broader audiences. To help us change over to the new brand please check that any references you have to NPS on your website/s or other information sources are updated. Existing printed resources will not be recalled and may continue to be used in the community for the time being. As stock runs down we will reprint our resources with the new branding and ensure members and partners have access to these.
