Chair Message

This newly formed Chapter aims to support Nurse Practitioners professionally: assisting with collegial support and mentoring of nurse practitioner students. Influencing the strategic direction for nurse practitioners is another focus. In Tasmanian, endorsed nurse practitioners and nurse practitioner students are expanding in number. Currently nurse practitioner students undertake distance education with key clinical components supported by medical, allied health and nursing supervisors and mentors.

It is anticipated that the NP Masters in Nursing course will be open for applications 2012 - for further details please contact Merodi Jack Post Graduate Project Officer 63243024.

The Tasmanian Chapter of ACNP welcomes nurse practitioners, student nurse practitioners and other interested nurses to become involved in our activities.
