Chapter Elections were conducted in December 2009 and have resulted in the appointment of an experienced and enthusiastic Chapter Executive drawn from diverse categories of clinical practice. Sunshine Coast Daily AS a nurse practitioner, Denise Simmons would like to see a model of health care introduced that allows palliative and chronic disease patients to be treated in the comfort of their own home. The reform would see hospital beds turned over faster and, in return, reduce overcrowding in emergency departments.
