NOW OPEN - Prescribing and Pharmacology Virtual Workshop

The 2024 Prescribing & Pharmacology course has launched with our first session being held as an interactive virtual workshop. The new course builds on prior knowledge with emphasis on the Nurse Practitioner’s role in safe and effective prescribing using a patient-centred approach.

The Antibiotic prescribing in primary care: Therapeutic Guidelines summary table was updated in 2023 to temporarily include alternatives to first-line antimicrobials. This was done to provide free access to recommendations to assist healthcare professionals navigating the multiple concurrent antimicrobial shortages occurring in the community. CLICK TO VIEW THE TABLE
