Exciting Education Opportunities

By ACNP Admin

ACNP would like to share these ground breaking opportunities for Nurse Practitioners to make a key difference in health care.

#1 Free training and supervision to help you upskill in the area of eating disorders

Nurse Practitioners can now credential with ANZAED!
Professional Development Packages of free training and/or supervision is available to mental health professionals that are new to, or early in their practise in eating disorders.
Nurse Practitioners working in primary care or general settings with experience in mental health can also access these packages.
These packages, being rolled out by the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) support clinicians to better respond to eating disorders, and are available to clinicians across Australia - we encourage you to apply.  Once your education and supervision or training is complete, you can apply to become a credentialed eating disorders practitioner, and be part of the national register to assist health care professionals and patients to find skilled providers.  ACNP is very proud to have been part of this, and ensuring that Nurse Practitioners can fully participate!  As an area of enormous need in our community, we are excited to see the number of NPs providing expert care in the management of eating disorders increase.
