EOI Process for COVID Vaccines now includes Nurse Practitioners

Dear Members

We have finally been successful in our campaign for a new EOI process that includes privately practicing NPs providing COVID vaccines!

As you are all aware, ACNP, and many peak Nursing organisations and their leaders have been actively campaigning for Nurse Practitioners to assist in the COVID vaccine rollout, particularly some of the privately practicing NPs who are not included in the State/Public Health response.

Today we are invited to a webinar to review the proposed process, and it is anticipated to commence as early as next Monday.

The National COVID Vaccine Taskforce would like to invite you to a webinar on the Vaccine Administration Partners Program, being held on Friday, 10 September @ 12:30-1:15 pm EST.

This session will provide an opportunity for any providers interested in participating in the potential future vaccination streams to learn more about the process. The session will provide information on the likely tender process, model for delivery, and next steps for interested providers. There will also be time set aside to answer questions you may have following the introductory brief.

If you are unable to attend, further information will be available online shortly, including FAQs covering questions that were raised during the webinar.
