WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Contraceptive implant (Implanon NXT) insertion and removal training includes:

  • Practical session, including demonstration of insertion/removal
  • Practice session by participants, using devices, simulated arms, set up, insertion and removal technique 
  • Assessment of skill acquisition by Nurse Practitioner and Medical Officer
