This is an educational and networking opportunity specifically designed for the rural Nurse Practitioner. The theme “The Rural Care Habitat: From First Visit to Lifelong Care”, reflects the breadth and continuity of care delivered by nurse practitioners in rural settings.  

Taking place across 2 days, the Symposium will be held at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We invite Nurse Practitioners and health professionals working at an advanced level to submit an abstract showcasing innovative research, practice, education, and policy initiatives that advance rural healthcare across the lifespan.

ABSTRACT SUMISSION

Registration from 8:30 am

• Friday 19 June 2026 
• Saturday 20 June 2026 

FORMAT

• This 2 day event is held in person (only) at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW.

SOCIAL

• You are invited to attend a dinner event on Friday night (19 June) during the Symposium event. To register your interest, please check the box for this function in the registration process and we will contact you with further information. Please note: This function is separate to the Rural Symposium event and all costs incurred for attending are the responsibility of the individual.
