In 2019, we will start the year with the Queensland Symposium. Running over two days the Symposium will cover pain management, asthma, ATSI prescribing, mental health, diabetes, suture workshop, acute wound management, ultrasound, musculoskeletal workshop, plus interactive presentations.
Our Symposium will cover an exciting range of topics from nursing industry leaders that will allow you the opportunity to explore with your peers and professionals the application of better solutions for Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Nurses.
Our symposium aims to cover many areas within the NP practice including Chronic Disease, Mental health, Aged care and Palliative Care. The Symposium will also cover interactive workshops on the following 3 areas:
- Suture Workshop
- Acute Wound Management
Spotlighting the NP scope of practice is designed to facilitate engagement between peers and professionals, stimulating discussion and involvement within the key areas of the latest issues.
The objectives of the Symposium are:
- Enhancing & Broadening NP Practice education is designed by and for Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Candidates and Advanced Practice Nurses.
- Interactive workshops where you get to do more than listen to a presenter and you are encouraged to participate.
