A great opportunity
20th February 2020
Women in the health and nursing sector are advised that a limited pool of scholarship funding has just been released to participate in a range of leadership development programs commencing later this year.
The grants are allocated with the specific intent of providing powerful and effective opportunities for women throughout the sector.
The fee support window provides select women working in the health sector with scholarships of between $3,000 and $8,000 to enable participation in a range of highly regarded part-time courses.
At this stage, Expressions of Interest are being sourced until Friday, March 20, via this link:www.wla.edu.au/health
What are the selection criteria and who can apply?
Any women who are currently working in the health and nursing sector can apply. Criteria for being awarded the scholarship include the applicant’s perspectives on leadership and management in general, their perspectives on their own leadership style, their vision for future leadership within their organisation, their career aspirations and how they see the course assisting with this, and most importantly, their personal situation is such that their organisation and industry will reap the benefits of the applicant’s greater leadership capacity.
Women & Leadership Australia has a vested interest in improving the diversity and strength of the health and nursing sector, and our Charter recognises the important and positive role that women can contribute as a result of increased participation.
