She has extensive experience in teaching health staff, policy work and her PhD explored the parameters of practice of Emergency Nurse Practitioners across Australia. A major outcome was the development of clinical practice standards for ENPs. The College is pleased to continue its acknowledgement of Jane’s outstanding contribution to the Australian Health service and specifically the essential role of the Nurse Practitioner. One award of up to $5,000 for a research project that contributes to the Australian Health service and specifically the essential role of the Nurse Practitioner was given each year.
