Who can be an ACNP member?

Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Practice Nurses, Registered Nurses, Aged Care Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Paramedics, Midwives, Pharmacy Professionals, Medical Professionals, Academics, Nursing Students and supporters of Nurse Practitioners!


What membership should I choose?

Full Member: $284 (1 Year)

  • You are an NMBA-Endorsed Nurse Practitioner.
  • You will have voting rights at the AGM.
  • Your membership is from 1 June to 31 May, and auto-renews on 31 May each year. 

Associate Member: $225 (1 Year)

  • You are either a student, an advanced practice nurse, a registered nurse, an allied health professional, a paramedic, a pharmacy professional, a medical professional, an academic, or a supporter of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Your membership is from 1 June to 31 May, and auto-renews on 31 May each year.
  • Following NMBA endorsement and Ahpra registration, Associate Members may upgrade to Full Membership. Contact membership@acnp.org.au to arrange a complimentary upgrade for the remainder of the membership year.

What is the application process?

You’ll receive an email confirming receipt as soon as we receive your application and payment, within an hour for credit card payments, or one business day after direct deposit is received. Once approved, we’ll send a second email welcoming you as a new member.

ACNP now offers an auto‑renewing membership option. Members can choose this when joining or renewing.

Your credit card details are securely stored, and future membership fees will be automatically charged each year.

To activate auto‑renewal, you’ll need to manually complete your details and payment the first time and accept the auto-renewal terms, with renewal occurring on 31 May each year.

You’ll receive an SMS reminder a few days before the scheduled payment.

To turn off auto‑renewal, please contact the ACNP National Office at admin@acnp.org.au or call 1300 433 660.

ACNP will convert your membership from auto‑renewal to manual renewal.

You can then renew each year by credit card (online or by phone) or bank transfer.

Your membership expiry date will remain 31 May each year.

ACNP now offers Afterpay to support members. You can select Afterpay on the final payment screen, where credit card details are usually entered.

With Afterpay, your membership fee is paid in four interest‑free instalments over six weeks. The first instalment (approximately 25%) is paid at the time of purchase, with the remaining three instalments automatically deducted from your nominated debit or credit card. ACNP receives the full payment upfront on your behalf.
