Access Health and Community (AccessHC)
Dr Chris Olszewski graduated from Monash University and has been working in general practice for over 30 years. As well as being a full time GP, he is the Medical Director of Access Health and community (AccessHC) and is responsible for clinical governance of the medical practices. AccessHC (https://accesshc.org.au/) was established in 1859 as the Richmond Free Dispensary and is the longest running community health service and general practice in Victoria. It is now a not for profit multidisciplinary service including general practice, community houses, men’s shed, child and family services, NDIS, Camcare, dental health, allied health, psychology, mental health counselling and AOD services all under the one umbrella in multiple locations in the east of Melbourne. AccessHC currently has 5 GP practices with over 16 doctors, the two larger ones in Hawthorn and Richmond, headspaces in Hawthorn and Malvern and the GP respiratory clinic (GPRC) in Ashburton.
