Prescribing & Pharmacology Workshop.

This updated workshop will provide an overview of the Nurse Practitioner’s role in prescribing, with a particular focus on PBS access, regulations, and limitations.

  • Key issues include legislation, ethics, PBS and scheduling changes 
  • Evidence-based prescribing and essential resources 
  • Communication and patient-centred approaches 
  • Updates on recent new drugs, guidelines, cautions, controversies and drug interactions

The workshops will support professional development, and you will receive a certificate of participation for all programs after a short quiz.

NP Connect

NP Connect is run as a state/territory-based event and allows members to connect in a relaxed, informal setting. They provide space to network with peers and learn about a range of topics from invited speakers.

ACNP National Conference  

The ACNP National Conference attracts over 400 senior health practitioners and offers an engaging program featuring a Welcome Reception, keynote speakers, workshops, and the Gala Awards Dinner. The conference provides a valuable opportunity for delegates to network, build leadership capability, and strengthen clinical expertise.

The conference is held in a different state/territory each year, ensuring access is shared nationally and available to members across the country.

Symposium  

ACNP Symposiums are state and territory based to address local healthcare priorities and jurisdictional requirements. Designed by members, they feature guest speakers, case studies, facilitated discussions, and sponsored presentations, while rotating locations to improve accessibility nationwide.
