Each year, ACNP hosts friendly, interactive and professional education and events highlighting the latest for Nurse Practitioner Practice and Advanced Practice Nurses. These include National Conference, Symposiums, NP Connects and Professional Development Workshops.
ACNP runs a variety of workshops aimed to provide targeted professional development through practical and useful tools for delegates. The workshops will be running around the nation to help support our members with their CPD hours.
The Workshops will run for one day and will be delivered in a friendly, interactive, small learning environment with participant resources provided. The four different workshops will help members in four key areas including:

The workshops will support members professional development with a certificate of participation provided for all programs at the completion of a short quiz.

A meeting of Nurse Practitioners and their supports to advocate, educate and facilitate the role across the Australian health system.
Running from the 4th-6th March, 2021 at QT Hotel Surfers Paradise. The National Conference includes workshops, educational sessions, sponsors stalls and networking.
The State and venues change each year ensuring access is shared around the country creating equal access for all members.
All Symposiums are State based to enable best practice in addressing relevant local issues. This is needed as each State Government Health Department has differing requirements. This set out also allows for increased access to members who are not able to travel great distances.
Symposiums are designed by members to ensure their highest preferences are addressed. This can be done through guest speakers, Case Study sessions, Facilitated discussions and sponsored presentations.
"I was so impressed with the knowledge and passion of the presenter and the energy that flowed through the room. A dynamic workshop that kept my brain buzzing and wanting more. This workshop was so relevant and beneficial to my everyday clinical practice. Thanks Jenny and ACNP." Prescribing and Pharmacology Workshop Attendee, 2018
"I have learnt a lot of valuable contraindications, side effects and drug interactions today that I will take with me to my practice. Most importantly, this workshop reinforced my view on the necessity of de-prescribing and use of non-pharmacological options. Thank you to Jenny for sharing her knowledge and experience!"
