The scholarship is named in memory of Olwyn Johnston who was appointed as the first practicing nurse practitioner in Australia (NSW) in 2001. Olwyn died in 2006 but her life contribution to remote nursing will be remembered by her radio call sign “by Golly….it’s Ollie”.
This Scholarship is valued at up to $5,000 for one individual. The exact benefit is determined by the Awarding Committee and may not be the full $5,000.
